Pakistan Becomes President of the UN Security Council – July 2025

In July 2025, Pakistan assumed the presidency of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), marking a significant moment in its diplomatic history. Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Munir Akram, expressed pride and responsibility over this role.
